I would see them if they played local, any time.. Very few of the bands I follow have people who can actually "sing" ( you know the exceptions ), and place of origin is the last thing I worry about.. I'm also up for seeing the Afro Celt Soundsystem down in Glasto too which should be a blast. Talking of acid.. I see Copey is also playing on the Friday.. same as EATB, but I think his set clashes with REM and Primal Scream... Stu .. I've been getting these Broudie-related subliminal messages for weeks now.. I'm sure of it.. huge amount of restraint happening down here Raj ;-) You can harp on about all the "sugar coated icebergs" and other such nursery rhymes in the world.. You won't get me !!!!!!!! Yep, I agree that they're false, just as is much of the new bands around these days.. I reckon they're a great laugh, and I feel like having a bit of fun with music .. I've been too serious/stuffy for too long.. It's like way back with the likes of Jilted John & Splodgeywhat'sitsname.. no-one admitted to liking it, but we all sang along to it when totally pissed down the pub ( err.. didn't we ? ).. Now then, where's me blotters.... Stu Noose Boy wrote: I can't stand them, just seemed SO false. They're talking about doing a musical off broadway apparently. I'm going to camp right next to Stu at Glasto and hypnotise him with Lightning Seeds until we cure him of the Spree. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Shaz Sent: 02 June 2003 23:08 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas Ramblings OT again oh my god!! I shall be at the front at Glasto with at least 8 others from our group ( are you listening zap ? heh heh ).. They sorta remind me of ELO on acid..
