So *that's* how you keep your cars so clean! :-) My eldest *hates* to have to go *in* restaurants. I wish the drive-through didn't EXIST in some places, but it's awfully handy with kids to get in and out of the car. We probably eat out more than you do, and since it can be an hour commute home, the kids can't wait to get home to eat, so they eat it in the car. The drive-through pharmacy is awfully handy and drive- through Starbucks is nice, though it got me busted for excess sugar consumption (on phone while placing order at drive-through! which is rude but I'd finally gotten a good line and I wasn't going to give it up!). - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 01 Jun 2003 17:51:55 -0400 From: Red Subject: Re: seven-seas RE: OTOTOT KFC At 04:36 PM 6/1/03 -0500, you wrote: >> cos this drive thru thing is very new to us brits ;-) !! > >So *that's* how you keep your cars so clean! :-) I think that's a matter of personal taste! Everybody was litterally dancing (not just standing) on their chairs or dancing in the aisles. ............ i saw the Smiths once - they were doing a freebie for the GLC - & it was a lovely sunny Bank Holiday ( we do get sunny ones sometimes) & it was in the car park of the old County hall... It was fantastic & the atmosphere was just "happy" - people were clibing all over the building & dancing on window ledges & stuff. those were the days ;-) looloo ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 2 Jun 2003 00:10:15 +0100 From: "Noose Boy" Subject: RE: seven-seas Tindersticks Chris reminded me of my shouting just a few mins ago. One of the main reasons I shouted that was cos the place was full of chin-stroking pseudo intellectuals not saying so much between songs and trying to be cool. I was very moved by that gig, it won't be forgotten for a long time. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of looloo Sent: 01 June 2003 22:22 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: RE: seven-seas Tindersticks shouldn't that be "Top Show!" raj i have to agree it was TOTALLY EXCELLENT !!!! just a shame bloody British Rail can't keep the trains running at weekends.. we ended up on a coach for half the journey - taking over 3 hours to travel what should only take about 1 1/2 hours ... but that aside - it was brilliant & i would recommend anyone to go see them :-) - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Noose Boy Sent: 01 June 2003 15:16 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: seven-seas Tindersticks Absolutely beautiful and crisp gig last night in a very cool venue.
