Apparantly someone in the audience helped him with a series of coughing.. See that ?.. that's the sight of a joke sinking faster than the titanic.... Ah, the Mac show.. The sound was very good indeed, and the set was a great balance of old and new. Mac's guitar playing was a joy to watch.. it's been ages since he's played like that, and it reminded me of glory days past. Great to meet up with Barry & Mark, and then with Red, Jon, Fintan etc.. We went on to a club afterwards and got totally spannered. A good night indeed..
