I haven't read many seven-seas mails since I left for England, and since I just flew in last night in time to catch the gig, I didn't know who was going. Was surprised to see Chris Adams there! Was a pretty good gig. :-) .....although the crowd was far too small, and did too much talking throughout the gig. I preferred the Liverpool gig myself! Better vibe. I think they played a longer set there, and the crowd was really heckling which always makes for good fun! :-)...... and of course it's always nice to see Will, Ged and Vinny lurking about! Had a great time last night meeting up with Scott for some pre-gig ciders, and of course he was up to his usual pregig shennanegans! hehehee Mike from Pa...we missed ya! :-( Red ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 May 2003 12:43:18 -0400 From: Red Subject: Re: seven-seas this is bugging me -- TOTALLY OTOTOTOTOTOTOT At 11:22 PM 5/20/03 +0100, you wrote: >why are there four d's in edward woodwood........coz other wise he'd be >called..........e war woo woo HAHHAHAHAHHA!!!! just found this! No, I wasn't. I'll spare all the details, but I was really looking forward to it for the last few weeks until a couple days ago I found out I had to go to school last night for a continuing ed. thing. So, that sucked! I agonized over it for a couple days. I basically just have to try to imagine what it was like from you guys. I kept looking at the clock last night trying to imagine about when they were going on stage and how far into the set they were. Was there an opening act? How long did he play? I was looking forward to meeting up with you folks there. I should've called Chris and told him I wouldn't be there, cause I was supposed to meet up with him. Oops, my bad. > > Was a pretty good gig. :-) .....although the crowd was > far too small, and did too much talking throughout the gig. I had a feeling that there wouldn't be a lot of people there. I'll bet more will show up for NY and Boston. I notice Mac is doing some dates with Will(EATB) overseas this summer. Does anybody know if there are any plans to come this side of the ocean in 2003? That would make me feel better. Though probably not, since the website doesn't say so. How long did he play? The opening act went on at 9 pm...ya didn't miss anything there!!!!!!!! Think they were called This Way....and Mac went on closer to 10 ish I believe. That's a guess, but he finished around 11:20, coz my watch was still set on London time and it said 4:20 when he was doing encores. Any guesses, Scott? I was too tired to recall clearly. > I notice Mac is doing some dates with Will(EATB) overseas this summer. >Does anybody know if there are any plans to come this side of the ocean in >2003? Those are all festivals in the UK. Not really a proper tour. It'd be nice though.....
