That's a huge store. I'm REALLY surprised he's not going to be at an indie store or something - though his appearance at Amoeba during the Bunnymen's last skip through town was apparently a bit too common for him (a friend of my friend who worked there at the time said he complained about the "back stage" facilities quite a bit.... Heeheehee.) Virgin before most people are off work and the day after a bank holiday is going to be a challenge (I used to set up these sorts of things for a couple of record labels in a previous life and was always scared to death of having a Spinal Tap situation (never forget having Maxi Priest sitting at an autograph table talking to the ONE fan who was there to meet him. VERY bad day. But I digress.) Anyone want to meet up for a pint before this? Say 3ish at Foley's? Adam? Cheers, Anne - --- Charles Pham wrote: > Posted on Virgin's site: > ======= > 05/27/03 - 4:30pm > Ian McCulloch Performs > Echo & The Bunny Man frontman Ian McCulloch will be > performing live. > Afterwards, he will stick around to meet people and > sign copies of his cool > new solo CD, The Slideling. > ======= > http://www.virginmegamagazine.com/default.asp?vms=6 > > -----Original Message----- > From: Charles Pham > To: 'seven-seas@smoe.org' > Sent: 5/17/2003 10:55 PM > Subject: seven-seas SF In-Store > > According to Pollstar, Ian McCulloch is scheduled > for an instore appearance > and/or performance at Virgin Megastore on May 27th, > the same day as the show > at Slims.
