The lost Friday night Okay.. pieceing it all back together again.... Great day/night out.. Liverpool is the best party city in the country without question.. Delayed my birthday celebrations by a week to combine them with the gig etc. First off... Many, many thanks to Barry and Mark for your superb company. As Barry has said, the venue was packed, and the sound quality was excellent, and I'd also say that the live versions of the album are superior to the recorded. Enjoyed the Candleland songs, and also liked his rendition of Walk On The Wild Side in the encore. McNabb was a gentleman, and despite us bigging him up about his xmas gig, he heaped nothing but praise on Mac explaining how difficult it can be with managing both the solo and band frontman aspects, and that's something he hasn't got to worry about himself. I think we may mave made twats of ourselves as we'd been drinking for 7 hours by that time, but hey!! we had a ball. Great to see Jon, Red et all too.. allbeit for a short time. We carried on afterwards at the Krazy House with bottles of Bud 2 for 1, and ended up drinking till 6am.. Great night.. Thanks again to everyone.. Barry, drop me a line offlist with your address, and I'll get those discs sorted. Stu B spent a good 15 minutes in his, apparently very charming, company. Never seen him live but I'll definitely do it this year. - -- Barry - -- Barry Whiting barry@urquell.freeserve.co.uk ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== - --------------------------------- Yahoo!
