Yeah, his hair is far more tame; perhaps he has less of it, and I don't mean that in an unkind way. And his clothes seem to be tighter fitting; he's stayed in remarkably good shape. Don't get me thinking about Mac! I can't go see any of the solo shows and I wanna! :-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 May 2003 13:33:00 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas Overplayed radio > God I hated that as well, also Glass Tiger's Don't > forget me when I'm gome was played a helluva a lot in > my time as well. Night Ranger's "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" and your own Canadian Saga's "On The Loose" got inordinate airplay here. Oh yeah! Van Halen's "Jump" made me wanna do just that..... I think that with modern Radio(TM)'s playlists, they've managed to avoid some of the overplaying. Not that it means radio is any better. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 May 2003 13:36:46 -0500 From: "Ted Turner" Subject: Re: seven-seas re: mac review "he's stayed in remarkably good shape." thats cuz he's a health nut, no booze or cigs in years. he also works out like a fiend & gets lots of sleep (no after show partying) & eats a well balanced diet during tours. - -Ted <---------------------------------------------------> Ted Turner: UWSA/CKUW 95.9 FM Advertising & Sponsorship Manager Ph: 204 786 9779 *** Fx: 204 783 7080 Room 0R32 - University of Winnipeg 515 Portage Ave Winnipeg MB Canada R3B 2E9 tturner2@uwinnipeg.ca www.theuwsa.ca www.ckuw.org <---------------------------------------------------> Rates/specs: CKUW - www.ckuw.org/ratecard.jpg Stylus - www.ckuw.org/stylusrates.pdf Uniter - http://www.uwinnipeg.ca/~uwsaweb/Uniterrates_page_1.htm Handbook- www.ckuw.org/UWSA_handbook.jpg - www.ckuw.org/Handbook_Specs. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amy Moseley Rupp" To: Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2003 01:17 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas re: mac review > > >>In fact he still wears the same kind of clothes and the same kind of > > hair<< > > > > not as far as i can see! he seems to be going for a touch of the safari suit > > look these days! > > Yeah, his hair is far more tame; perhaps he has less of it, and I don't > mean that in an unkind way. Hmmmmmmmm...... I need the MacDiet! ;-) Works out like a fiend, eh? Doing what? During the Electrafixion tour I commented that when Mac walked onto the stage, he had the grace and ease of a 20-year-old when he was in fact well into his 30s. It was very striking. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 6 May 2003 13:54:00 -0500 From: "Ted Turner" Subject: Re: seven-seas re: mac review hard core weight training, aerobics, lots of Tai Chi and cross country skiing...i'm told he also uses Leonard Cohen's patented hair tonic - -Ted <---------------------------------------------------> Ted Turner: UWSA/CKUW 95.9 FM Advertising & Sponsorship Manager Ph: 204 786 9779 *** Fx: 204 783 7080 Room 0R32 - University of Winnipeg 515 Portage Ave Winnipeg MB Canada R3B 2E9 tturner2@uwinnipeg.ca www.theuwsa.ca www.ckuw.org <---------------------------------------------------> Rates/specs: CKUW - www.ckuw.org/ratecard.jpg Stylus - www.ckuw.org/stylusrates.pdf Uniter - http://www.uwinnipeg.ca/~uwsaweb/Uniterrates_page_1.htm Handbook- www.ckuw.org/UWSA_handbook.jpg - www.ckuw.org/Handbook_Specs. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Amy Moseley Rupp" To: Sent: Tuesday, May 06, 2003 01:43 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas re: mac review > > he also works out like a fiend & gets lots of sleep (no after show partying) > > & eats a well balanced diet during tours. > > Hmmmmmmmm...... > > I need the MacDiet! ;-) > > Works out like a fiend, eh?
