We've had the largest ever public disturbance in England here in the 1831 Political Reform Riots with numbers of rioters estimated between 5000 and 10000 with over 500 dead. Oh no! :-) Don't you know my reputation regarding bass players? :-) No, you haven't been around here long enough ;-) so you missed the lovely fan mail I received about being a tad loose. - --Amy, also a bass player, and aren't those good ol' boys just precious? My ex owes his ex-WIFE loads in child support, but when I talked with her, she said their daughter didn't want Daddy to go to jail or nuthin' so jest forget that I saw that web page :-) Actually, my ex is like second-generation HUNGARIAN so it's goulash and not grits for him. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Apr 2003 16:15:21 -0700 (PDT) From: Anne Gleeson Subject: Re: seven-seas-moderated Re: seven-seas OT Johnny Marr In LA Too true. Palo Alto were not the openers for that show, though. The singer from Ours did an acoustic set to open the show. Johnny Marr was pretty good. I saw him months ago at the Troubadour and he seems a bit nervous and kept things very conservative. However, he seemed much more relaxed and into the music at the Viper Room show last weekend. Aside from the talk-during-the-music LA crowd, it was a solid show. Oh, Anne, can't make it to the SF Ian show. Can't take the time off work. But I'm catching the Chicago show over Memorial Day weekend... - -----Original Message----- From: Anne Gleeson [mailto:anneg68@yahoo.com] Sent: Tuesday, April 29, 2003 4:15 PM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas-moderated Re: seven-seas OT Johnny Marr In LA Too true.
