Put "Planet Song" on, though. And "Heaven's Gate." Oh, and "Blue Moon" too, that was a killer. - -CA "Barry Whiting" Sent by: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org 28-Apr-2003 05:01 PM Please respond to seven-seas To: cc: Subject: Re: seven-seas Mac setlist / Suggested Mix CD? I was really surprised to find a web page with a list of detained packages, senders, and contents.... but apparently that is the case! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Apr 2003 16:46:38 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas An Unusual Request > I write things like "Anthrax" and "SARS-infected live tissue." > Sometimes the occasional "nail-bomb" just fr kicks. > "Battery-operated marital aids" is also a winner. Really? And do you put your correct return address on there? You don't even need the "marital aids" part of the above these days; you can't send *anything* that has the batteries installed. I'd be afraid if I declared "Anthrax" I'd be gang-rushed by the postal workers! I suppose a cute joke would be to send a CD of the eponymous artist, but I wouldn't count on it getting there! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Apr 2003 16:54:08 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas Mac setlist / Suggested Mix CD? > Through a couple of Velvets tracks in at the end aswell. I'd love to place any/all of Mac's VU covers on there, but are there recorded versions of these?? I can't use Velvet originals...wouldn't make sense. I will add "Blue Moon" to the MIX cd though (not the LIVE cd), good call. - -----Original Message----- From: amyr@jump.net [mailto:amyr@jump.net] Sent: Monday, April 28, 2003 2:54 PM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas Mac setlist / Suggested Mix CD? > Through a couple of Velvets tracks in at the end aswell. The Efix cover of Pale Blue Eyes is readily available on WinMX and if you can't find it, e-me. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 28 Apr 2003 18:10:25 -0400 From: "Zap" Subject: RE: seven-seas Mac setlist / Suggested Mix CD? A personal fave of mine is "the ground below" it's simple really... But that's its charm. I also like the cover "the circle game" and bside "everything is real". I have a live version of the bunnymen doing "walk on the wild side", and quite a few other velvet tunes... (run run run/heroine live and on released i.e. non-bootleg sources) (all live except foggy notion mk2/non-ian) I also have ian solo live doing "sweet jane" and electrafixion live doing "pale blue eyes"... As noted by that glowing review we read earlier (sarcasm) you could add "baby hold on" for a velvets vibe. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Charles Pham Sent: April 28, 2003 5:57 PM To: 'seven-seas@smoe.org' Subject: RE: seven-seas Mac setlist / Suggested Mix CD?
