How dare you say that you're not worthy. I haven't heard Stevie G's remixes, but I do remember your remix very much. It was one of the highlights of the original fan tribute. You may think that Stevie is better, but you are still worthy of putting out your own stuff. REMEMBER, Ali's and yours were the highlight IMO and that's not so humble. NOW get off you ass! Glad to see you back on the list and chatting. I have a couple of 120Gb disks, one with an 8Mb cache which helps with performance. I use mobile racks to so at any time I can eject the disk and I have all my data incl my music collection go with me where ever I want which was one of the original ideas for doing this. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of K.P. I edited to my computer some promo magazine cd's and it was massiff. I'm sure it's slowed my system down too....maybe I'm being paranoid. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Noose Boy" To: Sent: Monday, April 28, 2003 11:20 AM Subject: RE: seven-seas Suspect > I'm in the middle of transferring my whole music collection to my > computer and having done all my CDs a while back I've started the > laborious process of doing the vinyl. Thanks Henry !! I must admit to being privvy to some of Stevie's "works in progress" from time to time, as well as whole compiltions, and it has to be said that it really helps me regarding composition, assembly etc. I just think the man has a brilliant ear for remixes... With me, the truth is that I cannot devote any proper time to making music at the moment until I've got a permanent job. I've been temping on and off for over a year now, with virtually nil disposable income, so the good lady isn't too interested in me obtaining new kit, or spending time on music when i really should be trawlling the agency pages etc... On the positive side, I still have 3 or 4 tunes that are more than half done to go back to once the situation improves.
