Gee, Ivan, I didn't think a side discussion of the merits of file sharing programs was a "bitchfest" -- in order to GET the free downloads, one has to run a *new* P2P piggyback that has a lot of discussion about its security. I'm grateful to the label and to you for proving the downloads and the press release, but I'm also grateful to the other folks here who posted information about the P2P software. All it is is information, and everyone can decide for themselves what to do with it. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 Apr 2003 15:17:15 -0400 From: "Zap" Subject: RE: seven-seas re - Bunnymen play the MAINSTAGE at this year's Glastonbury You going to be there too big stevie? - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of stevie g Sent: April 25, 2003 1:11 PM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: seven-seas re - Bunnymen play the MAINSTAGE at this year's Glastonbury let's hope that they don't get friday afternoon this time - we don't need mac geting the arse and insulting mr eavis again! stevie g. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 Apr 2003 15:56:10 -0400 From: Red Subject: RE: seven-seas Back on Sevenseas and Ian'snew album At 11:33 AM 4/25/03 +0100, you wrote: >I'm not gonna make it to any Mac gigs,i would like to of but they've kinda >sneaked up on me and i'm too busy to make any of them. I wish the schools even offered instrumental instruction that early. The kids here play recorders (and boy what a racket!). In sixth grade, or about age 12, when the jump to middle school / junior high / secondary school is made, a child can choose to learn an instrument. Most *do* choose band, because the marching band performs at the (American) football games, and being in band here also gets you out of having to do PE (physical education, gym class). So now I'm wondering: is there an equivalent in England? Footie matches between rival schools, complete with marching bands in uniform, cheerleaders, homecoming queens.... or is this strictly Americana? Friday night Texas schoolboy football is legend. - --Amy, who was in marching band (glory) and choir (no glory) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V2 #200 ********************************
