Any chance of re-masters on the first four albums? Compared to the current crop of 24bit releases the classic Bunnymen discs are sounding a touch tired. Re-releases would really make my day. Anyone? Not sure what the timeline is, but I think they're supposed to be out by November of this year, in accord with the 25th anniversary. Incidentally, FILTER magazine contacted me last month to do a follow-up story on the Turquoise Days book, to write a 25th anniversary retrospective on the Bunnymen, and to capitalize on the release of Mac's Slideleing. The article, which features an interview I did with Mac a couple of weeks ago, will be in next month's issue--the one with Blur on the cover--due out May 8th. - --Chris A.
