The final version is NOT CURRENTLY ON THE WEB. ..........There are 2 different versions of the Radiohead album available ; one at 128kbps, another at 192kbps. They are different with the 192kbps reportedly being the release version. ....That's what I've been told, anyway. - -- Barry - -- Barry Whiting barry@urquell.freeserve.co.uk ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Apr 2003 00:38:44 +0100 From: "Barry Whiting" Subject: Re: seven-seas slideling on ebay............ There's been a few of these on Ebay over the last couple of months or so. Not all under the 'Ian McCulloch' tag -- but variations on. Gemm, Netsounds and eil.com have also had copies of the album available for awhile aswell as both CD singles. I like the cover art so give me the originals any day. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "looloo" > just seen this > > its not even released over here yet!! > > http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2520121925&ssPageName=A > DME:B:SS:UK:1 > > looloo > > > > ====================================== > http://www.bunnymenlist.com > > ====================================== ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Apr 2003 19:57:33 -0600 (CST) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas Be Afraid................... > Oh gawd, What's Bush & Blah gone and done now? I thought they were supposed to stop at Iraq ROTFLAPM(P/T)! Actually getting past Turkey just means Iraq next. Of course, if they beat the Saudis, that'll really be a World Coup! I just gotta post this link; if you or someone you love thinks you're obsessed with footie, have them check out this sad case at: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/funny_old_game/2337031.stm Now, now, remember, it could happen to *any* team's supporter ;-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Apr 2003 20:08:53 -0600 (CST) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas Stu chimes in on radiohead > ..........There are 2 different versions of the Radiohead album available ; > one at 128kbps, another at 192kbps. I'll try to fetch down more of it tonight and see if I can tell a difference. I'm definitely not qualified to comment on it, because I have heard so little of their previous work. In fact, I blew off listening to them in 1995 when they opened for REM here :-( yeah, yeah.... ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 2 Apr 2003 19:53:09 -0800 (PST) From: Andrew Ironside Subject: Re: seven-seas list of influences? - --- Amy Moseley Rupp wrote: > > >Preston School of Industry > > This name has always stuck in my head -- are they > from > Preston Lancs? Nigel Godrich was quoted on Teletext this morning as saying that the songs leaked to the 'net are only "rough mixes" and "why on earth would anyone want to listen to them". All I can say is, they are remarkably well produced for "rough mixes". I haven't heard the 128kbps versions, but I shall compare my track lengths/intros/mixes etc with the descriptions Stu has posted (welcome back, mate!) and see what I've got. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Apr 2003 09:59:31 +0100 From: matt.harkness@bt.com Subject: RE: seven-seas Radiohead Revisited >Heard the new Blur ? We've Got A File On You should be subtitled "Song 1", don't you think? ;-) ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Apr 2003 10:01:35 +0100 From: matt.harkness@bt.com Subject: RE: seven-seas Stu chimes in on radiohead >I'm definitely not qualified to comment on it, because I have heard >so little of their previous work. Come to think of it, in 1995 Radiohead pissed over pretty much anyone. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 3 Apr 2003 03:04:12 -0600 (CST) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas Stu chimes in on radiohead > In 1995 Radiohead pissed all over REM. Can *any* American band piss over any halfway respectable Brit band?
