We of course have the Boston Celtics but they play a totally different game -- if soccer's called football, why isn't basketball called handball? :-) Oh yeah, there's already another game called handball.... and if the point is to get it in the basket, then shouldn't football be called goalball? Would solve the endless "my game is called football!" debates... though of course with the religious passion involved in the game it'll never change ;-) - --Amy, obviously up too late ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 8 Feb 2003 10:22:13 -0000 From: "Barry Whiting" Subject: seven-seas Prettiest Star I've stuck a (192kbps) version of this Mac track in my WinMx shared folder, if anyone's interested.... ...no, thought not. - -- Barry - -- Barry Whiting barry@urquell.freeserve.co.uk ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 08 Feb 2003 07:39:35 -0500 From: Red Subject: seven-seas OT: some Aerial Love Feed dates Aerial Love Feed 11pm Monday Night 2/10 Gotham @ LUXX!!! Their main rivals being Glasgow Rangers. There is and has been bitter rivalry between these teams throughout their history. The rivalry not because one team is better than the other (they've all had their moments) with Celtic having a resurgence recently but because of that age old excuse religion. Celtic are a Roman Catholic club and Rangers are a Protestant club. Both have their roots and a lot of support in Northern Ireland & Eire . The good news I suppose is that the other religion - money will no doubt soften the situation as players from across the world with various beliefs are bought to play for the clubs as they chase success. However it may take a while for some fans to get to grips with it.
