If you can be flexible, you can fly for cheaper, but you have to be flexible and wait down to a rather close time. American usually has a sale from *some city* to London; and British Air *sometimes* as well, though in May? hahahahaah..... British Air flies into Manchester as well -- you probably know this, but that would be closer to both the L'pool and Sheffield gigs.
