It sucks, but many acts pass by Detroit also, surprisingly so. For example, The Chameleons were scheduled to play in Detroit on Oct 10th in a venue that only holds about 800 people (my birthday too; would have been a cool night out!) but now it's no longer on their tour schedule. Maybe that part of the country has it's ears covered up by ten gallon hats and has never heard of the Bunnymen. Though Austin is a way cooler city than SA, and you only need veer slightly north up of I-10 on US 71 and then back to I-10 via US 290 and a state highway to Kerrville to get back on -- a far prettier drive for those who want to sight see, at any time of the year! ;-) - --Amy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 6 Sep 2002 19:53:11 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas Oh, and somethinstrange.... ;-) > You would lose that bet I already lost it!
