I love that song .... it's almost my favourite song in the whole world. (Have to reserve a spot for some future song ;-)) ... but I don't think Ian soars on the LIPA version. He does on the _Ocean Rain_ version. I hope to hear him do it again someday. Preferrably in person ;-) - --Amy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 5 Sep 2002 23:28:55 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: seven-seas Oh, and somethinstrange.... ;-) You're in Houston, I'm in Austin.... I did mean what I said about wanting to hear "Ocean Rain" live. From watching the past few English bands that have toured the US, I have gathered that they tend to play the same cities... the two coasts, and two or three cities in between, notably in Ohio, and then Chicago or Denver -- maybe Phoenix. Closest show is usually Denver. I do wish these bands would play either Dallas *or* Houston... there is a huge fan base in Texas for many of them. Who else would you like to see play here? As I've said, I'd like Muse... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V1 #136 ********************************
