LOL!!!! jamiroquai, um, is that like je ne sais quoi? We're forced into Spanish here, we haven't a chance at learning French.... So..., er, Peter, what bands *must* you turn off? I know many would gladly destroy any piece of equipment playing Rush (tied as my favourite), but for some reason I can't STAND Jethro Tull. If I ever hear "Aqualung" again in my life it will be too soon. And of course this meant I had a college roommate who played flute and naturally liked Jethro Tull. I'm certainly not a big Who fan, but they aren't in the sabotage-the- equipment-or-electricity-to-make-it-stop-please category that Jethro Tull is in (for me). Soooooo... any particular songs or bands that y'all feel this way about? I *assume* Rush unless otherwise stated ;-) - --Amy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 4 Sep 2002 17:42:15 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: seven-seas OT: Liverpool v. Newcastle I had to write and say that this match, which was shown here tape- delayed, was absolutely *WONDERFUL* and the best match I've seen so far (which, admittedly isn't *too* many, but)... I'm not a supporter of either team, so mean no offence to either side (it was a draw) but I really enjoyed watching this game. The Liverpool players are also rather easy on the eyes as noted by a fellow (female) seven-seas member ;-) - --Amy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 5 Sep 2002 00:15:41 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: Re: seven-seas first four album remasters? a bit OT by now > Love, peace, nuff respect (who was it used to say that, or some similar > experession, on this list?) . Hmmmm... Stephane Devereux used to say "Peace, love, and radiation..." and our own Stu said/says "nuff peace" .... going back, there are a lot of people who would sign off with peace, love, respect, unity, understanding, peace out...
