In fact, it is quite mild compared to some of the things I've seen the academics get up to. (Someone once remarked that university politics are so vicious because the stakes are so...small.) You are doing fine. Don't worry about it. I do get satisfaction from what I do, and yes I do know my efforts are supported my the majority of the fans. The reason I started the poll is to illustrate, without my voice chiming in, that I do have the support of the fans, and the support of the band, and the support of the management. Judging his response to the poll, and Pete Byrne's statement of support, it seems our 'friend' is unwilling to accept the reality of it all, and the loose threads are beginning to show. I have no intention of leaving bunny-land, and will not publicly address the incident any further, no matter how the this 'echojim' person attempts to bait me. I do find it interesting how this person, who registered for the forum and newsletter a month ago, seems to have me pegged. I think he may be someone who's attempted to start things with me in the past, under a different guise. When 7 Sept rolls around, I'll lock voting on the poll, and that will be that - no proclaimation of victory or anything of the sort.... I'll just keep steering this ship on the same course as always.... thanks again - -Ivan - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kristin F. I really meant that reply to Kristin as private, because I assumed hers was a private e-mail to me. I don't want to discuss the thing en masse any longer.... I wish seven-seas messages would come in as 'from Seven-Seas', rather than from the individuals... I'll have to do some inbox message rules thing to prevent this sort of thing from happening again.. sorry to trouble you all - -Ivan - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ivan Smith" To: Sent: Sunday, September 01, 2002 9:06 AM Subject: Re: seven-seas Ivan - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. On hearing this the traffic cop (being a fan?) let him off. Anyone here remember the story and who the vehicle owner was? Hmm.... There was a *girl* who gave her BUNIMEN plate to the band: Date: Fri, 8 Oct 1999 01:15:33 EDT From: Erinkngdom@aol.com Subject: Re: seven-seas Mac's Pipes nice to hear Peasy is still with them...he has always been cool to me and when I gave the band my front license plate "bunimen" at an Electrafixion show it was Peasy who responded with a thank you letter from the band...If anyone can get a message to Peasy let him know drinks are on me at the Vegas and LA shows....Erin Freeman It's possible she may have gotten a ticket during the 'fixion era and written about it then. - --Amy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V1 #120 ********************************
