(From Ivan) here, Ivy baby, think we've been here before but who cares. can't be arsed registering just to reply and all that but..... here's my reply - and please don't bother send any personal e-mails - reply to the list if you don't like it. 1. the work you have done and continue to do on the site is great, the time you spend on it should be rewarded big time, you should not have to sell odd copies of books, cds or anything to make extra cash. 2. The role you play elsewhere, if it needs to be discussed at all, should be decided between you and the band or the management. As far as I am concerned you can have total control over the forum but you are representing the band whether you like it or not, it being the official site and all - and if you can't remember that then you should pack it in. If they had to pay some big agency for the amount of work you do, then they would have to start releasing the odd hit single now and again. 3. there is no 3. carry on mate, cheer up, be happy, listen to heaven up here alot more than you do..... pete > >I want you to check out the following topic: Determine Ivan's role in this >online community., on Echo and the Bunnymen. Damn right! :-) It all breaks in mysterious ways that cause one to go mad...... If I didn't need/want WinMX or my kids' computer games, I'd literally never touch the Windoze box. If I had time, I might try to port the Napster protocol/WinMX file sharing scheme to other platforms, but... - --Amy, who once wrote part of Windows NT and nearly died of shame at the quality of MS's source code.... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V1 #118 ********************************
