One more reason to really love Coldplay. - -Mike =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 30 Aug 2002 22:55:32 -0400 From: "George Papanikos" Subject: seven-seas Edwyn Collins What do you folks make of Edwyn Collins? He's got a long history with our beloved Roddy Frame, but I don't think he has any formal ties with the Bunnymen. I've only heard him mention them once, in an interview from way back when: "That's why I never wanted to be Voice of the Generation. Orange Juice could've been huge now, like Echo And The Bunnymen, like U2, but look at that! Disgusting! U2 equals Led Zeppelin now. So I'm just glad we didn't make it, you know, become a mega stadium rock band." This was 1984, as his band Orange Juice was being dropped from Polydor and splitting up. I like the fellow myself, and am listening to him as I type this. She got a promotion then, and is marrying you despite other women's underwear larking about the house??! ;-) Congratulations! - --Amy =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= New Choices! *seven-seas or seven-seas-moderated Questions? mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V1 #116 ********************************
