I was playing _Ocean Rain_ in the car last night and thinking that it sorely deserves more recognition. This feeling only gets stronger over time. I do wish the title track got as much recognition as "The Killing Moon" but perhaps someday it will. Agree completely about Pete's masterful drumming... it's especially evident on "Ocean Rain" where the end is relatively loud -- but it's all strings and simple guitar, not stadium rock. Thanks for posting this, Shaz. I take it there's a daily album on the BBC Radio 6 website somewhere? Do you happen to have the link handy? I'd love to read that. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 7 Dec 2002 14:22:04 -0500 From: "tony schinella" Subject: Re: seven-seas Ocean Rain - Album of the Day BBC 6 Music Agreed.
