Hey! It was the very first boy band I have ever thought cute! And I didn't scream, I looked him up on the Internet: Kian Egan what a name! and he only caught my attention because he reminds me of the younger version of someone *my* age I already fancy! Though I did note he is 1.75 tall -- I hope that's in metres! ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Nov 2002 08:32:40 -0800 (PST) From: Andrew Ironside Subject: Re: seven-seas OT A cautionary tale - --- Amy Moseley Rupp wrote: > > And am I right in saying that one of them (can't > remember who) has no need > > to ever work again due to the fact that his mother > invented/copyrighted > > liquid paper correctional fluid or whatever the > hell you want to call it? > > White Out is what we called it ;-) or Liquid Paper > as it came to be known > and was first called "Mistake Out." > > See: > http://www.ideafinder.com/history/inventions/story046.htm > > God I should have inhaled that stuff for fun.... two > years of typing class > did my head in anyway but damn I can type! > > Too bad they couldn't use the white out to erase the Monkees from our collective consciousness. No. Actually Peter Tork also knew how to play (the banjo of all things) prior to being picked. However the other two were pretty clueless. Yes. That is the notorious little town halfway between here and Dallas. Why, did you catch an Astros-Expos game? ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Nov 2002 10:53:46 -0600 From: "Wayne Brissette" Subject: Re: seven-seas-moderated RE: Touched by the (second)hand ?Clash Amy Moseley Rupp amyr@jump.net on 22 November 2002 stated: >--Amy (did you happen to see the Bunnymen in '81 at Club Foot? They played in 1983 at the Austin Opry House with Billy Bragg supporting them. That was my first exposure to Billy. I have seen both the rangers and the Astros at some point. I tried to go to a lot of Expos games last year because of the possibility of them moving, turns out they will be playing about 20 ganes in Puerto Rico, so technically they stll play here some of the time. Berkman's a good player, but I think A-Rod is the best player in Texas, maybe all of baseball. Yahoo! Mail Plus Powerful. Affordable.
