I don't know who I would compare him with, but .... sort of a mellow that never borders on melancholic genius or madness but just stays sorta flat. My sister-in-law LOVES Pete Yorn. She's brainwashed my brother. They tried de-programming me from "alls I like is English music" by forcing me to listen to Pete Yorn (mistake #1) and by viciously slagging Muse (huge mistake #2, end of attempt). Hey! Now there's a clue. If you don't like Muse, maybe you'll like Pete Yorn.... ;-) because that's about the only commonality I can find (though don't know about you, David). Muse is anything *but* mellow. - --Amy ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 21 Nov 2002 20:51:23 -0600 (CST) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: Re: seven-seas OT A cautionary tale > >Doesn't sound Manchesterian (hahahha) to me. > > He may have been born there....but did he grow up there? http://www.davyjones.net/bio.html Probably some, probably some in London.
