[to be fair, he belted out some in fine style, 'the cutter' for one.] steve g. p.s. nothing ever lasts forever...... how true. ====================================== The Official Seven-Seas Web Page. www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 30 Nov 2003 19:52:19 -0000 From: "Barry Whiting" Subject: seven-seas-moderated Re: seven-seas liverpool gig Distinctly average verging on utterly shambolic in places. Just how bad was "Rust" & "I'll Fly Tonight" ? -- they were all over the shop. "The Killing Moon" was great though, just for the audience throwing the words back at the band, if nothing else. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "stevie g" > am i in the minority?- it was the worse bunymen gig i've ever been to. > > what was mac up to?- did he not want to be there? > > seemed like he couldn't be arsed to sing the songs. > > sad to say but i left after 'nothing lasts... on the wild side'. > > [to be fair, he belted out some in fine style, 'the cutter' for one.] > > steve g. > > p.s. nothing ever lasts forever...... how true. ====================================== The Official Seven-Seas Web Page. www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 30 Nov 2003 19:00:32 -0200 From: "Ana Ban" Subject: seven-seas-moderated Re: seven-seas liverpool gig I'm glad to read at least one opinion that agrees with mine. just didn't want to be the first to voice it and cause a lot of polemic and people hating me... I saw the in Porto Alegre (Brazil) at the 18th and it made me sad. It was the worst gig ever. The drummer is so bad, he couldn't get one song right... just as Mac, that kept missing the point he should start singing and got a lot of lyrics wrong. But since everyone else trully loved it, I guess it's OK. Good for them.
