( for all) Dear Ed and list. I thought I should write a few words regarding what I just read. Everything you said is true. I did record that concert in Brazil in 1999. I did promisse I was going to get it on a CD for the ones interested. And I did leave everyone without an explanation. The reasons are pretty simple. In that year I had a terrible loss in my family. On a weekend holiday with my family I lost both my dad and my brother on a car accident. They were taken from us in such a manner that everything we had was turned upside down. Many of our possessings had to be sold to cover all the trouble and economic issues that came, including our house and my computer. I, at the time, had no time and mind, to think about recordings. Now, four years later, we have managed to settle our lives back in place. I have a new computer, which will allow me to master the concert from Tuesday, the 18th. I still have the 1999 concert on Minidisc, but haven't been emotionally able to touch that since then. I will eventually. And surely, if that happens, you will be the first to know dear Ed. Thanks for the inspiring words. ( for all) hi everyone. Carlos Coelho, who says he recorded Echo's concert on Tuesday, did the same thing in 1999.when Echo came to Brazil. He wrote exactly the same message for the list asking who wanted a copy of the cd. I got in touch with him and even explained to him how to make the recording. After that he disappeared , ignored the e-mails i sent him and even ignored the people from this list. I don't know why he did it and all i expect is that he keeps his promise in sharing the recording if he actually has it. I sent him 2 e-mails this week, but i got no answer. I don't want to sound rude and i don't want to cause any trouble. This is a fan list and people should help each other. For the ones who are interested in EATB recordings ( bootlegs) and want to swap... i've got plenty of material and you can contact me. Write to : orbital7@ldapalm.com.br If you want to donwload files, i've put some concerts ( about 10) on Soulseek If you don't have the program, here are some links for downloading it. http://www.soulseek.de.vu/ http://slsk.blogspot.com/ http://www.remmelt.com/slskboard/status.php If you want to add me to the program hotlist, my nick is Edvander. cheers! Ed. Carlos, i am sorry for mentioning your name on my message. i just wanted to say what happened. ====================================== http://www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ====================================== The Official Seven-Seas Web Page. www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 22 Nov 2003 06:21:29 +0000 From: "Peter Burnand" Subject: seven-seas-moderated echo name check Bunnymen reference from Ian Skelly of The Coral... I have an old NME here with an article/interview with The Coral in which Skelly states that he hadn't even heard of the Bunnymen until a couple of years ago.. Of course that was before Mac was quoted as liking The Coral........ Peter Burnand wrote: Bunnymen reference from Ian Skelly of The Coral...
