Unfortunately I was a child during the eighties, I4m not gonna make 25 this year yet hehehe. But I grew up listening to bands like R.E.M., Nirvana and the likes. Around 95 I found The Cure, and since then the are my favourite band (oh blasphemy hehehe). And started to listen to lots of bands of that time. Bought some Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, Siouxsie and all. But no Bunnymen. In 1996 or 97 (before Evergreen was released) my chant teacher said he4d like to introduce me to a guy who shared my musical taste, so we could make music together. He arranged a meeting at his house, and the guy appeared with a lot of vinyls, which we played while talking. I4ll always be grateful to him for 2 of them in particular: the first Stone Roses and Heaven Up Here. I remember listening to All my Colours, I stopped talking to ask what was that. Next week I travelled, saw Porcupine in a store. Although I didn4t know one single track from the album, I thought an album with a cover like that had to be great. And bought it. Got to see them twice, the 2 times they came here since then. Travelled kinda far for the second one.And would see them again if they came back, surely. No Cure for me. Robert gave an interview weeks ago saying they4ll come next year. Really hope so. Well, think I4ve written too much hehehe *Sets lurker mode on* - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peter Charbonneau" To: ; Sent: Friday, June 13, 2003 3:25 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas how you became bunnified > I figured I'd throw out something on-topic for once, now that I've > been around a few days... and i'm sure it's been covered before, but > since I'm new, please indulge me.
