Not that it REALLY matters, but when I saw the Church in a small club about 3-4 years ago, Peter Koppes played that solo on guitar, with and Ebow, and it sounded the same, so I'm not certain the record IS bagpipes, but not sure it isn't either. WAs very impressed how he played it though. Marty Wilson-Piper played acoustic 12-string on it live, just for the record, while Peter did the electric stuff. Again, not that it matters, but love details like that myself. Regarding the Mac album, I was also surprised (with one 30 second listening of each song that is) that the record isn't MORE mellow. It seems like it "rocks" more that WAYGDWYL, and I figured the reason Mac wanted to do another solo record was so he could be mellow. Maybe Will should have played on it when Mac asked him after all. It was funny when Red and I were talking to him how he told us he shot down the idea. Do they have Valentines Day in the UK, or is that just another "Hallmark Card" holiday, designed "so the government can take more of the wording mans money" as a Michigan militia member I used to work with once described it, after I asked him if he'd picked up roses for his wife. Hilarious ! Totally cracked me up!
