Highlight of the night for me being a cover of Age of Consent (New Order). Look out for a gig to be announced in May at the Royal Albert Hall where they are going to invite all the singing collaborators they have worked with. Imagine the backstage party going on with the likes of Iggy Pop, Liam Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie..... ====================================== The Official Seven-Seas Web Page. www.bunnymenlist.com ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 22 Dec 2002 11:01:45 -0800 From: Charles Pham Subject: seven-seas-moderated RE: seven-seas OT: Death in Vegas I know tons of people here have a thing against Oasis/Liam Gallagher, but the new Death In Vegas single, "Scorpio Rising" (track 5), with Liam on vocals is undeniably one of the best tracks of the year. I was surprised initially... And I rather dislike Paul Weller, but his track on the Death In Vegas record is excellent as well..."So You Say You Lost Your Baby" (track 8). oh, and Hope Sandoval is also a guest on 2 tracks on the record, including my fav "Killing Smile" (track 6). You can stream the ENTIRE record here: http://continorooms.com/div/ click on the album cover on the right. it'll launch a popup flash player. disclaimer: i'm not getting paid for this advertisement. ha. i just think the record is amazing...took me by surprise. - -----Original Message----- From: Noose Boy To: seven-seas@smoe.org Sent: 12/22/2002 4:41 AM Subject: seven-seas Death in Vegas Went to see them last night and they were excellent.
