Jason Bonham drumming, dunno what he's like, obviously it would be incredible if he was only half as good as Bonzo. PS: Saw The Coral at the Anson Rooms in Bristol the other night and it's kind of morphed into a massive wall-of-sound Spiritualized weirdness now. Mega. Think I saw Damon Reece in the crowd but I might be wrong. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 14 Oct 2002 07:39:37 -0700 From: "Ivan" Subject: seven-seas-moderated on/off topic: Glide Found a nice bit of news tucked in the post-script of an e-mail from Will I received this morning: "ps Les is coming round to play a bit of bass on a couple of the glide tunes on thurs.. bcnu fuzz.........." - --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Have you heard that Harper and Page LP? Apparently they were doing lines of coke the length of a snooker table when they made it, impressive as Veda would say Coral single in at 13, right? >From: "Peter Burnand" >Reply-To: seven-seas@smoe.org >To: seven-seas@smoe.org >Subject: seven-seas led zep (digression) >Date: Mon, 14 Oct 2002 12:53:25 +0000 > >Just heard on Radcliffe that Led Zep are to reform! Myself, I am of the 'wonderfully good' faction. PLANT did a cover of that? I dunno that I even want to HEAR it. Liz Fraser's is the definitive version. - --Amy, who saw P&P on last American tour -- what year, 1997? front row by sheer luck. Loads of backing instrumentalists, including a whole troupe from some country... but can't remember which one. They figured in heavily in "Kashmir." A couple of 'backing' guitarists as well, including one that did the intro to "Dancing Days" which I thought weird cos why couldn't Page? Can't play slide guitar any more? But other than that Page did well. Plant seemed a bit tired.... but having not had the opportunity to see Led Zep in the day, felt I ought to go. Now what I would give for Roger Waters & David Gilmour to tour... though DG's voice isn't what it used to be either. ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V1 #150 ********************************
