It's a little bit over 10MB. I've tried to send it to Ivan but his mailboxes bounce it, so... If I have time I'll down sample it, but you can look for the lower sampled version Barry put up as well. If I see anyone in the queue going for it, I'll bump you up in priority ... It's not bad; as usual the backing musicians do an excellent job, and while it's more uptempo than the original, the strings aren't missed. Mac's rendition of the chorus is good -- he sings a different melody, but it works. However, the verses are dropped an octave, and if you are among those that didn't like that on the LIPA version of 'Never Stop', you won't like it here. It doesn't sound right in basso profundo. It's a song meant for keening, not crooning. But it's well worth a listen. Just wish he could have / would have done it in the proper octave. The best cover I've found in the ones I've listened to in waiting to download this one has been by Grant Lee Buffalo. I've always said that 'Mockingbirds' is a perfect Bunnymen song and wonder if Grant Lee was influenced by Echo... even the lyrics are Bunny tinged. - --Amy (watching _Blackhawk Down_ cos of Orlando Bloom... great actor, quite a difference from Legolas in Lord of the Rings to Todd Blackburn) ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V1 #134 ********************************
