At the moment it bothers me in a way I don't like but I reckon he's worth more effort. He should really get back together with Brown, who's solo stuff has been OK but the best thing Brown has done, since the Stone Roses, was sing on that UNKLE track, Be There. In the ongoing drama round our house, my (separated from) husband came in the house and flung some CDs I had in my van (which he was borrowing) onto the kitchen counter. He smirked at my mother, then left. She looked at them, and to her horror one of them was _Burned_ (you all know the cover art). I think that one cost me an hour in lecture over the evils of rock-n-roll and how my husband could use that against me to take the children away from me. I'm just glad neither of them know of the Efix - Bunnymen connection. :-) So a warning to you with prude relatives: of all the cover art in the Efix - Bunnymen - Ian solo work, only Burned needs a brown paper cover. Never had thought of it before now, but I thought I might pass it along, because you never know when you might need it! Mac: I know some fellas have said, "Wow, what a great-looking girl, have you met her?" We never met her, but when I look at the picture I don't think sexually at all. ATN: It's symbolic. Mac: Yeah, it's the notion of the name Electrafixion as being a cross between electrocution and crucifixion--; Will's idea of me wired up on a cross. ATN: The Rock Star as Martyr? Mac: Yeah, a limp crucifixion pose. I just saw it as a great picture. We said to Anton [Corbijn, who took the shot], "Just do whatever you want." He could've taken a picture of [points] that lampstand and made it look like there was something more to it." ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V1 #105 ********************************
