Both of these bands are coming within one week of each other to my hometown. Unfortunately both are on weekday nights (Mon. and Wed.) and I get up extremely early in the a.m. for work. My question to you all, (and I know it is just a matter of your opinion and taste in music), should I suck it up and go to both shows because I'd be an idiot if I didn't? Or are they just two hyped up bands and I'd be better just going to one of them (whichever lives more up to the hype) or just go to bed early and go to neither? Thanks for any opinions - especially from those of you who have actually seen either of these two bands and can speak with some experience in regards to their live shows... I'd say see Clinic! They're awesome and freaky...coz they were surgical attire complete with masks! :-) I haven't seen Doves, but wanted to the other night, but I'd still think I'd choose Cinic if I could only attend one of the shows! ~Red ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Sep 2002 06:29:05 +0200 From: Anders =?iso-8859-1?Q?D=F6mstedt?= Subject: Re: seven-seas-moderated Re: seven-seas OT Clinic and The Doves I would go for Doves. Two great albums. Clinic are alright, but not in the same league as Doves. /Anders Noose Boy skrev: > I'd go for the Doves > > Seen them twice recently, once in London and once in SF where they had > Elbow supporting who were excellent too, so perhaps check out who's > the support > > Raj > > >From: Kathleen Sprague > >Reply-To: seven-seas@smoe.org > >To: > >Subject: Re: seven-seas OT Clinic and The Doves > >Date: Sat, 14 Sep 2002 17:37:04 -0700 > > > >Hi everyone > >I know these two bands have been mentioned before on this list so I > >thought I'd throw my following question out there.
