I also like the tidal wave remix... I miss the days when a remix meant "extended version" I've yet to be impressed with a remix that was some sort Of techno rip-off... The only one that came close was The cure's lets go to bed (milk mix) which was released With one of the singles for mixed up. (album OF remixes!) My least prized bunny related posession I'd probably have to say anything with ANOTHER version of nothing last forever... One was fine... Good song... But not worthy of all the versions. So in essence I guess I agree with matt, but there is also the "get in the car" cd single.... - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Amy Moseley Rupp Sent: Thursday, September 12, 2002 5:32 PM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas Value for money > figure it is the E'fix Lowdown single. Of the 12" EPs that I own, my favourite and value-for-money is, of course, Bring On the Dancing Horses ... one also gets Bedbugs and Ballyhoo, and an underrated track (IMHO) Over Your Shoulder in addition to the extended and standard mixes of the title song. Of the ones I *don't* own, I couldn't be bothered with Lips Like Sugar, which contains nothing but remixes of the same. And of course it's overplayed and overrated anyway! But the Shine So Hard EP... Crocodiles, All That Jazz, Zimbo, and Over The Wall. Easily half an album in those days... and a damn fine half-album at that. Feedback on this one would be appreciated cos I might go used-vinyl hunting! - --Amy (who LOVES her own bootleg recording of "Holy Grail" but CAN'T FIND IT!) ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Sep 2002 16:56:00 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: seven-seas-moderated Re: seven-seas Value for money Zap opined: > My most prized/valued bunnymen single is silver, simply because Angels > and devils in itself was a music revolution! It sounds good to me, if a little stiff (and way too short). My 12" "Bring On The Dancing Horses" has only the 12" extended remix of the song. I think it's British and Kordova. Does yours really have the regular-length track on it? Do you have a different pressing/release than mine? Mine also has the ORIGINAL "Bedbugs", which I've always loved (I was disappointed when the "album" version came out) and "Over Your Shoulder". I agree with you, it's a great song. - --David Maxfield - --- Amy Moseley Rupp wrote: > > figure it is the E'fix Lowdown single.
