I then decided to work out which Bunnymen-related item constituted the *best* value (not counting albums). I figure it is the E'fix Lowdown single. Lowdown itself might not be the best tune they've done, but to get Land of the Dying Sun, Razor's Edge AND Holy Grail (never was a song more aptly titled) all on one CD single.....bargain!! On the flip-side is Make Me Shine.... Any other views? ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Sep 2002 16:31:33 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: seven-seas-moderated Re: seven-seas Value for money > figure it is the E'fix Lowdown single. Of the 12" EPs that I own, my favourite and value-for-money is, of course, Bring On the Dancing Horses ... one also gets Bedbugs and Ballyhoo, and an underrated track (IMHO) Over Your Shoulder in addition to the extended and standard mixes of the title song. Of the ones I *don't* own, I couldn't be bothered with Lips Like Sugar, which contains nothing but remixes of the same. And of course it's overplayed and overrated anyway! But the Shine So Hard EP... Crocodiles, All That Jazz, Zimbo, and Over The Wall. Easily half an album in those days... and a damn fine half-album at that. Feedback on this one would be appreciated cos I might go used-vinyl hunting! - --Amy (who LOVES her own bootleg recording of "Holy Grail" but CAN'T FIND IT!) ====================================== Choices! mailto:majordomo@smoe.org Subscribe/unsubscribe Seven-seas Seven-seas-moderated Both available in digest form. ====================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Sep 2002 16:36:20 -0500 (CDT) From: amyr@jump.net (Amy Moseley Rupp) Subject: seven-seas-moderated Spot The Bunnymen!
