What was Ben thinking? He's great at writing tongue-in-cheek songs, but this was absolutely horrible. Thank god the rest of the album is not like that single, I highly encourage everyone to listen to every song BUT "RTS." I can only hope that the single will not appear in the setlist when I see him in Boston, however, I know that probably won't be happening. Anyone on the list going to the show in Boston? To answer Barbi's question -- yes, I have listened to the new album. It's out and downloadable from a few different sites (I got my tracks from audiogalaxy). And no, I don't feel guilty, because I'm totally buying the CD when it comes out! :) Actually, I'm listening to the album right now... and I loveitloveitloveit. Love. It. Seriously. :) So yeah, I totally disagree with Aaron -- I very much like "Rockin'" (the single). It's probably not my favorite song off the album, though. My favorite today is "Zak and Sara" -- but I also love "Annie Waits," "Fired, "Gone," and "Losing Lisa" (which makes me dance like a crazy person around my apartment). Actually, the only song I'm not a huge fan of is probably "Fred Jones, Pt. 2." I've got my tickets to Ben's Boston show... and normally I would also head down to Providence, Rhode Island to catch him there the next night, but I'm unemployed and therefore extremely poor. (D'oh.) And it sucks, too -- because the Providence show is actually WITH Built to Spill -- how COOL is that, huh? :) I think that's all I've got... Hope all of you people are having a great summer! - -Anne Annie says, "You see?
