So, you want high energy music to get you through that tough class? Your best bets will come from one of three catergories: Ska-Punk, Hard Rock, or Industrial. Which one you choose should depend upon which emotional level you want attached to the music. Ska-punk is angry, but in a fun way. Hard Rock tends to lead towards a mosh mentality. Industrial is more robotic, but still pissed off. On the Ska-Punk tip, I'd suggest bands like The Suicide Machines, Goldfinger, and Reel Big Fish. For Hard Rock, I'd say Sevendust, Slipknot (warning: extremely aggro. You might end up bashing someone's head in for fun if too stressed.) or some good old fashioned AC/DC. There's only two real ways to go with Industrial: KMFDM and Front 242. This concludes your Musical Clinic session for today. Please come back with any and all questions. Laters!
