I got me some Beck tickets! This could be long-Im suffering from logorreha- (right? That is the word for long winded, correct?) All these year end magaizne issues have come out- year end issues whore that I am, I find myself plopping down the cash for entertainment weekly, spin, etc, in a strangely robotic sort of manner. But, to prove my true love to entertainment weekly, they had an excellent article on Jon Brion last week...I find that the artists I seriously dig have been produced by him, so I bet I would love his music, myself. When The Pawn (Fiona Apple) is such a great album- I feckin' love it! I saw Being John Malkovich yesterday. One one hand, amazingly creative, brilliant, and a love poem to catherine keener. It was also really unsettling, and sour in the way that you are watching a bunch of assholic people...like Seinfeld. So I know the holidays are a busy time, but what have you kids been doing? Im going to be working, standing in front a computer, so I encourage verbiosity. But anyways, I finished my shopping and Im sending Onion paraphenelia to Sweden, Canada, and California. My relatives who are actually coming home for Christmas recieve something significantly nicer. I also bought Beck tickets. It should be so fun. Courtney Knopf, I need your addy once again! Youre getting a nice postcard! I also bought Terror Twilight by Pavement for myself. A) I love the artwork on it-its striking B) ...And`carrot rope is a song I really dig. I like how Malkmus sounds like a total lech at one point, then asks the little kid to play 20 questions. Ah, pavement! There was also a huge ass book sale at Barnes and Noble- I bought THe Virgin Suicides, Bird By Bird, and Breakfast at Tiffanys. Delicous! But will it really be Christmas unless I recieve the Beastie Boys Anthology and the Tribe Called Quest greatest hits cd??? hmmm. ~Elisabeth "There is no sin except stupidity"-Oscar Wilde ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of The Rockford Files V2 #324 *********************************
