Hey Kids! I know, I know I haven't posted in a while. All I have to say is high school sucks. I can't wait until I am out of this place. I have been so doing busywork for so long I haven't been able to check my mail. I am thoroughly disappointed to hear that BFF will not be stopping in Phx. It breaks my heart. In 97 they came to Phx THREE times in, like 8 or 9 months. Heaven. Pure Heaven. But I am glad to hear everyone's exciting plans and trips to go see them. That doesn't mean I am not jealous as all hell. I am very excited about my trip to NY. Its through my school's drama program. We are going for 5 days and 4 nights. We are going to Juilliard, Guggenheim (sorry about my spelling), Ellis Island, Statue of Liberty, Soho, Radio City Music Hall. We are staying at the Mariott Marquis. We are seeing 3 Broadway shows while we're there. Ragtime and two others that haven't been confirmed. We have a workshop with the cast of Chicago and possibly Ragtime also. We are going to a taping of the Rosie O donnell show (blech-Do you think BFF ever plays rosie???!!? hmmm). We are looking at about six different dates. Two in Feb, two in March, and two in April. The Feb ones especially scare me because I have never been in snow before. And all of us AZ brats are going to freeze to death basically anytime we go there. I am so excited for that. And we are raisng money to go there through- get this a-Bowl-a-Thon! And we're selling raffle tickets for a brand new 1999 volkswagon Gls it has air conditioning, Cd player, the whole nine yards. And it can be yours for only 25$! Thats right folks! Tax and license included. I am also the team captain of AIDS Walk Arizona at my school. That isn't until Oct.17 though. Those are always really fun. Last year they raised over a million dollars. So I am also very busy with that. My boyfriend who is on the list (Hi Jeff!!) just got cast in the Importance of Being Earnest!! An excellent play by Oscar Wilde, if you haven't read it. So yeah Jeff! What else? I am still dancing. And I have been very seriously thinking of pursuing this out of high school. Maybe teaching dance or doing videos. Who knows?? I have been listening to WEAEA a lot. Especially at school. Even though we aren't supposed to have our CD players on campus. (Holy sh*t! It could be a bomb!!) But there is something very satisfying about the Battle of Who Could Care Less. When you are walking through the halls of my high school, all these tube-topped, abercrombie-loving Limp Bizkit fans. Ugh. I swear they could have shot this video at my school. But that song especially makes me laugh at all these stupid teachers. And we have no freedom after all of these ridiculous school shootings. They are trying to get us to wear name tags and uniforms and a whole bunch of other crap. They should focus more on the problem kids rather than our "hip- school- fashion-sense". Anyhow. That is probably enough ranting and raving for one post. I thought some of you might be interested in a poor lil high school girl's life. And there was plenty of bentent to go around. So, a good day to all of you. *Sari* ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of The Rockford Files V2 #268 *********************************
