Apparently, no one even knows her name. >please tell me if this is the 'ska remix' of kate. I already own that so if >anyone knows, is there anything else on their? I didn't buy it yet hoping Well, it is not the ska remix. This is actually one of the 1st singles off WEAE and it was never released in the states. Oh well. And as for what the B sides are, it depends if it is the orange one or blue one. In any event, if it were me, I'd buy it just because they are hard to find these days, and the bsides are pretty cool. I have both the orange and blue kate singles. >one of you could help me here. If you have absolutely no idea what I am >talking about here, forgive me. I'm sure everyone will answer this before I do, but that's not Kate on the cover of the CD single, it's jes' some chick who worked @ Sony @ the time. Now I'm adding a 2nd sentence to my post so it will be w/in the rules. Well, let's see. Markus isn't the only one breaking in to the music business. I now currently work for The World's Most Dangerous House Band, Foley. It's a bunch of my friends that decided to name their band after Mick Foley, God of Hardcore Wrestling. Hey, any band where the warm-up includes chair shots to the cranium has got to earn some points. Plus, they're really good musicians. Think Limp Biskit in a deathmatch with Parliment Funkadelic, with Taz from ECW as the referee. Other than that, I get booted from my house on the 20th, and am planning to take a week somewhere to compensate. Not much, I just wanted to let you people know. Talk to you later! They seemed very generic to me. I saw them open for Guster and I thought "cookie-cutter band." BUT, to each his own. Hell, I like Michael Jackson and still listen to Hootie and the Blowfish every now and then. Which leads me to a small story... One time my great aunt went to buy me the Hootie cd and when she asked the sales clerk for it, she said, "Excuse me, do you have HUEY AND THE BLOWTORCH?" I think that name is better. = ) Kisses with saliva b/c I have to, Matty J @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ matty j. mbjacobs@students.wisc.edu AIM- Lifeisski ICQ# 25174853 If you want to be happy, be. It is 1:30 am, we just got home and Sandi is eating spaghetti. I had a chocolate chip cookie. We saw a fabulous band tonight called the american analog set. They are very Belle and Sebastian-ish, you could also compare them to some of the Elephant 6 bands but minus the experimentation aspect. Buy their cd, it's called the golden band. Yay AAS--most of them were cute, too. We talked to one of the cute boys, and found out that they are a very tired band. And they have to go to Columbia, SC, tomorrow..poor poor things. We have kittens. Their names are Dizzy and Ella, and they are cute but they are little hellions. Sandi says they are obnoxious. They like to think thta my leg is a scratching post--I'm trying to teach them otherwise. Me (Ginger) will be unsubscribing from this little mailing list soon. I am leaving this country and ditching Sandi so she's stuck with crazy Joe all by herself. Poor Sandi. One of them will need psychotherapy before I return. Oh yeah, if anyone on this list plans on being at the UK shows, maybe I'll see you there. Sandi is swearing at the cats now, and I want something to drink so this SandiGinger post is ending now. love always, us ps--Em, Calvin, when are you going to get your asses out here and visit us?! hellllllllllo?!
