Hey all, Why doncha come out of hiding? Some people spend ALL DAY on a computer and they depend on rants for some semblance of entertainment (that and strolling around, looking for bike messengers at lunch..rwoar!) So how are all of you? I am doing well, because I have tickets to Moby and Lyle Lovett. I am excited about moby, because he is cute and little and he just wants to make me dance (and read his liner notes, but we'll ignore that now) and lyle lovett...where do i begin? i am very curious for eyes wide shut. especially if its going to be one giant orgy. ill probably watch the whole movie going, "my virginal nature! aaa!!!" and also- leelee sobieski-good actress? interesting teen actress? or someone who im jealous of for being younger and more sucessful? I dont know the answers to these questions. i saw a soldiers daughter never cries last night and i liked it, but some of the tone of the screenplay seemed to be "and im the prettiest and so pretty and my life was hard, too" it wasnt my teenage girl story, but, oh, jesse bradford. I made my friend go see Far From Home: The Adventures Of Yellow Dog cos he was the star. True story. It was two 14 year olds and and bunch of parents and kids. A kid behind us, at the climatic moment goes, "Mommy, is Yellow Dog going to DIE???" Caitlin hasn't quite forgiven me. Rent King Of The Hill. an amazing movie. i cant stand this heat, i should get out of the kitchen, i am a whimpy bostonian. ~Elisabeth "Bob Mapplethorphe, potential getaway driver, GO!!" _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. Here's a piece of ben-related scribe. If anyone saw the A&E story on Brian Wilson, didja think the similarities between him and Ben were obvious (Brian at his early writing days). The footage of him playing the piano and singing by himself were eerie. Well, I think so. But I have a drinking problem. On totally unrelated ben-related stuff. I went and saw a show this past weekend. Gov't Mule (on HORDE once), Poi Dog Pondering, and BIG HEAD TODD a.t.m. (also a HORDE vet). I am here to praise BHTM. And to give a URL for pics if interested: http://members.tripod.com/bfflyonz/todd.htm For those who don't know, they have a new LIVE CD out called LIVE MONSTERS. get it. oh, Peter Frampton was the headliner, but half the crowd left after todd. hmmmm. It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood. The spiders are out and free brownies for all. - -erik ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Jun 1999 14:08:23 -0500 From: Vamprrella Subject: hahahaha!! I couldn't believe it!! I thought it was done really well, and I enjoyed it. But.... I dont see the similarities you did. And now that I am 21, I've pretty much had an alcoholic drink almost every day. And wasn't whats his face going to do a side project with the one and only Ben Folds? And I haev moved into my new apartment with my best friend and favorite person on Gods Green Earth. So far things are going pretty well... though a friend of mine tells me I'm living in a sitcom. I hope its one that does well in the ratings and comes back again next year. stacy ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 29 Jun 1999 17:05:25 EDT From: Eriklyons1@aol.com Subject: TODD and TOADs That was Toad the Wet Sprocket that broke up, and Glenn was supposed to/is going to work with Ben on a side project possibly in the future. And all this I don't really know, I just heard about it like the rest of yas! I like/d Toad very much. Maybe they will re-unite(d), 'cause it feels so good!! - -peaches (herb is out in the garden) ------------------------------ End of The Rockford Files V2 #197 *********************************
