Make sure you send mail to the RF from the addy you get the RF from. And using words like words I can't use in this email (the words you use to sign up and leave the list) will get the email bounced. And of course, like Stacy and Anne know, really long Emails (which are encouraged, mind you) should be broken down into 2 or 3 or 4 parts, depending on the size. With that said, kool vibes from Leigh to the list! You got Eric's mojo going I think. On Claire Dane-da-dane (remember the rapper?), I can't quite grasp my feeling for her, although, on SNL, she portrayed that dingy blonde that kicked off THE VIEW in grand fashion. I don't watch buffy, dawson, or the 70's show, although I watch 70's shows. The Rockford Files has come back to my viewing area M-F @ 9pm. Now if I can just get Baretta and the Dukes of Hazzard (which used to be on TNN) I would be in da house. Can I just say one more time that WFNX is the BEST daytime radio station in all the land? Thank you. So I am enjoying all the fun Befefe stories. Keep 'em coming. Migh have one for ya next week if'n I go to the Chicago show. First I have to run out and catch the Better than ezra show at our County Fair tomorrow. Right. Sure. Run..... Oh, onto more 70's business....I saw Styx on some telethon 2 weeks ago. Oh shit. They are making a comeback. DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK! Also, freckin Journey filled our last date at the State Fair this year. Domo arigato, Mata ah-oo hima de, Domo arigato, Himitsu wo shiri tai. And, Separate Ways......if I see parachute pants....I swear.... More music news. OR, maybe lack thereof. Anybody have any skinny on HORDE this year? I'm a little disappointed I have not heard anything. I know Blues Traveler is taking the summer off, save a few dates. I am seeing a sort of mini-past-horde participants in a week in KC. Big Head Todd and Gov't Mule. They will be joined by Poi Dog Pondering. And headlining this show? None other than VH-1 featured "where are they now" grand showman, Peter Frampton. I am more upset that I will be missing Kool and the Gang the night before (it is a weekend festival). I have just busted out the longest Email I have written in a while, so I depart with Romper Room aura....Props 2: Kristin, Eric, Anne, Markus, Leigh, Stacy, Tina, Dougthegoodman, Spencerthehidden, Jordantheabsent, all the new additions, and everyone else I forgot. Adios amigo/as!! - -Erik _______________________________________________________________ Get Free Email and Do More On The Web. All my friends think I'm a freak, but I'm sorry, I just really like it. The people are interesting, they are living in an awesome house in some cool city doing neato things I dream about... the plotlines are fantastic... its real stuff. And the real world is stranger than fiction. Anyway, I dig it. Courtney reassured me I am not a freak though, she likes the show too. Which is good, there are 3 of us now, me, her, and my friend Jason. Phew. Someday, I want to be on that show. And then like, I'll be writing an email to the RF, and they will tape me typing it, and you all will see me writing to you... whoa, thats kinda weird. So I had my first legal drink. at ten after midnight, I went down to the circle k (something's afoot at the circle k) and bought myself some kalua. Came home and poured myself a glass of milk, and a little kalua in there. Wow. I'm finally of legal age. I've waited since I was 17 and had my first alcoholic beverage for this moment. =-) I've got big plans. Wednesday for lunch I'm eating at the place where I work. I plan on ordering some sort of alcohlic something or other... fuzzy navel perhaps, even though it seems like more of a nighttime drink... see, sometimes, I come into work to say hi to travis (the bartender) cuz he is cool and all, and he'll ask me if I want something to drink, and I always say "Fuzzy navel" and he laughs and says "no, what do you really want?" This time I can say, "no, I really want a fuzzy navel. so there." =-) Show him my ID, and... won't it be cool? =-) After that, I'm going to hang out with Alex, who is one of the 1st people I ever met when I moved here when I was 16.. and he remains one of my closet friends even now, 5 years later. 5 going on 6 that is. Wow. After that, we're going to this place called Gentle Bens, its where all the cool college kids hang out after class. Its a bar/restaurant. We are going to meet there at 6 with about 5-10 of my friends. Have dinner, then walk to 4th Avenue which is... Its the bar/pub/club district of Tucson. Everything from very upscale to very low key. We'll hit all the bars that my friends think are cool. Don't worry, I'll pace myself. for every drink with alcohol in it, I will do one non-alcoholic one. And I'll be on a full stomach, and well, after that infamous night, I've definately learned my limit. When everyone has to leave, or I hit my limit, the party will be over. I'm spending the night at Alex's house, and he has something planned for the next morning.. breakfast if I am up for it, or not if I'm not. =-) he has the next day off too, so whatever I want to do is cool. I'm going to make it be one hellofanight. =-) oh, and I'm excited because less than 3 weeks from now I'll be on my fantastic trip out east. =-) stacy The best things in life don't make any sense -Odds "The Best Things" Stacy Lynn stacyf@u.arizona.edu http://www.u.arizona.edu/~stacyf icq: 7641939 ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 16 Jun 1999 13:56:35 CDT From: Erik Lyons Subject: Boss Hog is Running Wild Quick note: I meant to say I wished STARSKY AND HUTCH were on the tele-tube, not the Dukes, although (and back me up Eric), Daisy is worth the hour in front of the TV.
