Oh no, don't be ashamed of anything. Magic and other Ben Folds Five songs have made me cry like a baby. In fact, at the Irving Plaza shows, given the amazing lighting and my proximity to the stage (coupled with my unique eye problem which just made the beams of light seem even more surreal), and the powerful performance and lyrics, I nearly broke down right there. I was even told later by someone that they had noticed me during Magic. Alice Childress, for some unknown reason, used to turn the waterworks on something fierce. Hard to explain sometimes, but hardly difficult to understand at all. Sooooo, since I'm an aussie and we don't get the bonus vid... can you tell me if in the Recovery scenes, they show shots of the audience? cause I was there..and it'd be soooo amazingly phunk-E if we're shown. If you're looking at the audience, we're sitting on the left, and wearing the tour tee's. So yeah. I'd be really interested to know! Hi I don't know if the person I met last night reads this digest or is even onlinr, but it couldn't hurt to try. Please indulge me for a moment. Second night at Irving. I was stabding upstaires at the right side of the balcony. Green button-down collar shirt, black hair anf goatee. You: long, straight red-brownhair lovely face Brown jacket, white t-shirt You commented to me that everyone upstairs was over 30. I agreed and said that the floor crush was a young man's game You said something about being spat on. I began to introduce myself, but an asian girl and her boyfriend came up to the rail between us. The moment was lost. About 5 minutes later, the waitress came and took drink orders. I thought of asking you if you'd like a drink, but without the introduction, I was afraid you'd think I was a creep hitting on you. You spent a while talking with a guy in a white sweater(?). From the few snippets I heard, You seem to have interests similar to my own. I wish that it was me that you were speaking with. You left the rail shortly thereafter and lost your spot. I tried to get your attention and offer to share my rail space, but you didn't see me. You then got on a chair and danced(and you dance well!). Later the rail opened again and you came back. But by then BFF was on and I didn't want to break the groove that you seemed to be enjoying. That was the end of that evening. but if you're reading this and are interested I'd like to meet you sometime for a cup of coffee or a drink and have a friendly chat. . Dan, you rock. Wednesday managed to suck so much ass its not even funny. It was student council officer elections and I ended up losing to a girl that doesnt care, she was doing this because her best friend was running for office. Then there is the fact that she is a good friend of mine. It bothered me yesterday but im ok now. The girl that i have a complete and total crush on ended up winning her election today (ballots for freshman elections messed up yesterday) so the only thing im less than happy with is that i dont get to spend a whole year at officer functions with her. Life goes on. After that i forgot to turn in a poster for math club elections, (its called NHS points, kids. It also is called HS transcripts. Go with it.) so i didnt win the office outright. Nobody else ran for it so it was a write in, you put the name of the member you wanted and apparently enough people wrote me in and i won, sans poster. Cool cool. Today was much better. Everyone was really suprised that i lost, and some were pissed that i didnt win. That makes anyone feel better. Seriously, most people told me that they voted for me so when i heard her name announced instead of mine i was really shocked. Nobody including her expected her to win, she was prepared to lose. Sad thing is a bunch of offices went to people that were running not because they cared, but because they were told to, or they thought it would be cool. A jock knocked one of our hard working officers out of her office and i lost to someone who really didnt care. Next years student council is not going to be very productive, but what the hell can you do about it, its a big popularity contest. Enough of that. I get to miss school tommorow in one of my final acts as a student council officer, go to state convention for the day. Hell yea. I get new album on sunday, i guess ill post again then. Who the hell sings that song "here we go" ??? its part of the dance show im running tech for and i was just wondering that. Wow this is long Suzy rules Kjordan- post.
