Wow, I'm just amazed that people are actually listening to my suggestions. Does this mean I can start setting up the speakers for the world-wide orgy yet? Anyway, I've been doing nothing but waiting for my CD to come in. 11 days, technically, until I can pick it up. Then nothing can stop me. Nothing, you hear me? Nothing!!! *Eric starts running around, smacking people with a frozen trout* ERIC ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Apr 1999 12:06:40 EDT From: Eriklyons1@aol.com Subject: This just affirms what we all f*cking know. WFNX just plain kicks ass. Before I leave to conquer the heights of Jebel Katherina, I wanted to post some Foldtent. Sledgetent. and. Jesseetent. On Sunday, at 11pm (est kiddies), WFNX will broadcast, in its entirety, TUBORM. This station is quite accessible. Goto broadcast.com and you will find it (alternatively listed). and bytheby, it will be played with all the fun language, so put mom and dad to bed before you log on. So, someone in Boston record it and slap it on the web. I wanna hear more songs. And now, I want to admire the snow in April a bit more before I leave. Ain't it cool to be. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Apr 1999 11:36:43 -0700 From: Stacy Lynn Subject: Re: This just affirms what we all f*cking know. >So, someone in Boston record it and slap it on the web. I was wicked excited to hear that WFNX is playing TUBORM in its entirety, mind you, TWO weeks before it comes out (i think..time has no meaning..) I am taping it and sending it to all my friends. WFNX is also having a rockabilly weekend this weekend. Cool. I just saw GO, and I really enjoyed it. Sarah Polley kicks my ass, and she was amazing in the Sweet Hereafter. Hope everyone in Amherst is having fun (if it werent for calculus, id be there!) I want concert reports!!! Also, ticket info for RI would be cool, too.=) Hey Eric, with my days at high school waning, my uniform skirt is practically disintergrating and becoming holy. Maybe its because of my super-virgin status.=) Listen to FNX! If youre on the west coast, its not even that late! ~Elisabeth "She used to be married. Five hours and I'll be ON that bus heading east for Amherst, shrine of all things BFF for one day only. Sheer boredom at 1:30 am combined with the rigors of packing. Damn, I'm excited. Anyhow, I know some of y'all will be there (damned if I can remember anyone other than Anne for the moment), so I'll hopefully say "Hi!" and hear a familiar string of prose. Since faces and voices are few and far between, I'll have to settle for somebody quoting some archaic song or mentioning the militia for recognizance. I'll say this much, though: if you see a brown-haired lad of about 5'9" with glasses wearing a garish Hawaiian shirt (I would wear my obligatory Preppie Gear {tm}, but I don't want to blend in or anything :D) and dancing around merrily, that would likely be me. In the quiet moments, I'll be the one singing far too loudly and getting yelled at by people. If I can indeed sneak my trusty camera into the concert area (geez, I hope so), I'll snap a picture or something and we'll leave feeling satisfied. I'm in a state of limbo now not knowing exactly what was played at Brunswick tonight; dammit, someone get me a setlist. :) I'd just love to hear some really unexpected songs out of the boys. Anyhow, I'm nervous. It's my first BFF show since June 1998 and I don't know what to expect. Hoping those rumors of them being really off at the preview last week were wrong or overblown. Dammit, this is a big deal. Bed? Who needs bed? I have a six-hour bus ride ahead of me. Bwahahaha. Caffeine good. Ja. :) ~Dan "Rub her slit on the bass guitar!" ------------------------------ End of The Rockford Files V2 #128 *********************************
