I'm still really freaking tired and jetlagged from my flight home on sunday. 12 damn hours i spent in that plane. and one of the flight attendants looked frighteningly like Liev Schreiber. that is so NOT a good thing for a woman to look like. yikes. Paris and London were grrrreat. saw the Afghan Whigs in London and hung out in a pub. Saw Brian Setzer and Indigo Swing in Paris. I got a bad case of food poisoning and some guy at the Eiffel Tower wanted me to come home with him. he was icky and was brutally rebuffed. I haven't listened to Army or whatever that other new song is called, but I'll probably have my own copy of the CD by the end of the week, so i'll absorb it then in all of its glory. the new Rentals CD really bites my arse, but you can read more about that in the next issue of the Shrub. I'm seeing Blur next week, and i'm quite excited about it. especially since they're only playing something like 2 shows in the U.S. And I can't tell you how much i enjoy the fact that Damon & Co. are on the cover of just about every British music magazine. *drool*drool*drool* ROWR. oh it's really good to be home. i missed sleeping in my own bed and speaking in English. though i think we'd be happier as a nation if there was a stand on every corner that sold crepes with Nutella. and if we could buy good French wine for $4 a bottle. my show's on tonight. listen dammit, and dive into my ocean of generousity! ~Courtney The Sultraness of Swing "Your inner child pretty much runs the place, huh?" - -- ************* ICQ: 24901402 AOL IM: CourtSpork Laugh until you wet yourself; read The Shrubbery. http://www.theshrubbery.prohosting.com Listen to my radio show, "Swing and the Single Girl" every Tuesday night from 12-4am PST live in Real Audio at http://kscr.usc.edu. ************* ------------------------------ End of The Rockford Files V2 #104 *********************************
