I haven't listened to Army yet. i am just going to resist the urge. okay, maybe i will listen to it when i'm in chapel hill. but it depends on hard much peer pressure there is. but ANYWAY, my point is...the horn section i believe is the guys from the squirrel nut zippers. namely Tom, Ken and Jim, and perhaps Je. I know for a fact that they are on the album playing horns, but i am not sure which sings. i am assuming all of them, but you know "when you assume, you make an ASS out of U and ME" that was SO lame. I get teh feeling he thinks bff are cool. however, when he played it they're still playing the edited version ('must be' instead of....) actually they must have it on high rotation, because everytime I'm listening to teh radio it seems to come on. which suggests massive airplay or fortunate timing oh yeh, I was at disorientation on saturday (VERY average) adn I saw a lassie wearing the 'kiss my ass' tee adn I said hi and she and her pal were nice and we had a brief but nice conversation. bff fans are so cool. taves (misbehaves) Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Mar 1999 19:45:23 EST From: HndOfChaos@aol.com Subject: To Move or Not to Move...my Ben Folds Five site.... Sigh. Well, I decided to have a look at my Ben Folds Five site -- The Strangest Things -- after editing a few things, adding some new news and links. That was a *Bad Decision* as I hadn't actually looked at my page online for quite some time. Well, I seem to have discovered that XOOM.com decided to shove it's Stupid Little Frame Advertisement Thingie all over the place. So it seems that it appears FOUR times on my site, effectively crowding out all the text on the top frame. UGH! UGH, I say! YUCK! MOst disagreeable! Having this THING on the top of the page practically ruins the point of having a mostly text site. I am either going to move my page to somewhere better (please not Geocities or Angelfire) or delete it permanently. Bah. Does any one have any suggestions as to where to move it to? If it doesn't find a new home, I'm just going to get rid of it because it's taken up so much time and there's probably no where else that I'd be happy....Please, help! :( Great. Now I can't EVEN GET TO MY SITE one out of every two times! My copy of TUBWORM is on the way. =-) My soundcard is fixed, and I am listening to Army over and over and over. I can organize my mp3s and burn a cd. I saw the 2 star wars phantom menace trailers, and a south park spoof of them. Oh man, life is good. I didn't have my radio show tonight, the doors were locked, and I couldn't get into the studio. Oh well, I'll go in on wednesday. I'll give you a time tommorow of when I'll be there so you can listen if you so choose. Um, whatelse... Oh, I'm taking a big trip out east this summer. I'm going to DC/Baltimore to stay with a friend, then to New Jersey to stay with a friend, maybe see Leigh, then to NYC to stay with family and see some friends up there (again, maybe Leigh? =-) Amd then, the possibl\ility might exist for me to go to Boston again. That would rock. And now, something has come up, and I might even be going to Chapel Hill!!! =-) I would be a happy happy girl were that to happen. And anyone in the dc/baltimore/chapel hill/New Jersy/Philly/NYC/Boston area who wants to meet up with me, let me know in advamnce. I'm planning the trip now. I'll be there in July.
