First off, there's my ex, who's still in love with me and also in love with her current boyfriend. Then, there's my ex's friend, who is also in love with me and my ex's boyfriend. Then, there's my ex's boyfriend, who's in love with all three of us. An me, I just love everybody. It's one of the nice things about being a hedonist. ;) This is just rife with possibilities. Although it'll probably end with me locking everyone in a room for several hours. Emo- Now, I loved Minor Threat and Fugazi, but I never really and truly got into the emo scene. I'm too much of a ska-punk kid. Still, it's good music, and I have to back Stacy on her multiple, multiple posts. ;) There are several other reasons to listen to stuff, like it's what's on, you can't change the station or your SO/roomate/parents/driver will kill you, and so on and so forth. Listening because you like it is simply the Best reason. ;P And as a final closing note: FL, Markus, Spencer- I just want to inform all of you of a sad fact. All of your Kung Fu is Mad Wack! ;) Sex and Pop-Tarts, ERIC ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Mar 1999 15:41:21 EST From: SHAP99@aol.com Subject: Be all that you can be in da army!!! woohoo!!! What I cant understand is why jjj would edit 'fucking' in 'dad said you're fucking high' when they are swear-word-friendly usually?!, plus they messed up the start of the song... bit of a suck for all the people who rang up adam to replay it (good work children!) and those others who missed it i still cant decide about the disorientation festival... the brisbane city gardens can be such a sucky venue with thousands of qut students around.... but i love the whitlams... ay me. my afterschool drama kids are so gorgeous, I'm sure at least 3 of them could be oscar winners if they so chose.... okay now i'm stalling taves 'ohhhhh oohhh think i'll write a screenplay ohhhhh ohhhh think i'll take you to LA ohhhhh ohhhh think i'll get it done yesterday-ay' i love that bit, where we finally hear darren and robert (and it stops sounding like a solo effort) Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 11 Mar 1999 14:54:19 -0800 From: Dig that crazy chick Subject: I'm leaving the country... I'm leaving today I'm bound for nowhere and know where i'll stay well my dears, just in case you were worried i'd fallen off the face of the earth, I haven't. But i have been absolutely swamped with midterms and getting all my shit together for spring break. In a few short hours, I'll be on a plane bound for Paris. I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!! I'll rejoin cyberland on sunday the 21st, but seeing as how the Oscars are that night, I just may have to prioritize a little bit. Umm... what did i want to say? Oh. I don't like Eminem. I don't care what you say. I love how our MD basically laughed in his publicist's face when he kept trying to convince him that he had a lot of 'streed cred.' yeah, but he still sucks. i like Creeper Lagoon a LOT. I interviewed the gal in charge of publicity for their label, Ideal/Nickelbag, last week for a paper I was writing for one of my Music Industry classes. And that was awesome because she hooked me up with SO much free loot. i've got 2 Creeper Lagoon shirts, a Sukia shirt, something like 8 CDs (including an unreleased April March thing) and some vinyl and other fun stuff. Yeah. I am SO SO SO loving the new Beth Orton. My dear lord, it kicks my arse up and down the street. I think 'Sweetest Decline' is just the best song ever. and wow, i love the new Ben Lee -- even if it is a tad overproduced, it's still fabulous. Well, i must finish packing my last minute stuff. I love you all. I just wanna sit there and go: awwwwwww. one of those boys is too gorgeous and sweet a person/actor/face to be real. I swear, he's got to be in films one day. and at the moment hes only in grade 8- yikes! and one of the girls is a complete natural at impro. I'm doing scenes from a midsummer night's dream with them and for all of them it's the first time they've done shakespeare, so they havent socialised to think 'boring' yet, they think it's wonderful. it's just so cute i want to laugh and cry at the same time in an hysterical kind of way, because surely it cant be real that I find children sweet: me! the hardcore kid-hater. actually that must be what it is, they're too much like real people. damn. I hate typing on the computers at school because if I write swearwords a librarian always seems to be hovering nearby like a bad conscience (now that's a crappy simile) so I'm up at uni somehow still using my old code to get in (he he) and waiting for the rain to stop so I can buy a ticket to see the whitlams tomorrow. awww they're so cute! anyways taves 'these sordid kinds of things are coming hard to me' (damned for all time - jesus christ superstar) btw: I was late this morning because i was listening to army again and again and then maybe again and again i cant wait for the big-band album that's coming Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ End of The Rockford Files V2 #92 ********************************
