But as I remember Alan Wolmark saying, they didn't exactly need to bring it out right when BF5 had a hit single with Brick....which is why 550/Sony pushed to have the "this album does not contain the song Brick" label attached to all NBP albums. Yikes......it is 5am. Too much beer Need to get sleep.... Well, I seem to remember you staring down a drunken frat guy about twice your size when he tried to mosh behind you at the Grand Rapids show. It's all in the presence, love. ;) Now, what small country do I have to wage war on to get a copy of the new ablum off of you? And you think I'm kidding too. Matthew- Thank you for pointing out to me that I heinously neglected Coltrane and Thelonious in the soundtrack. I mean, without them, it just isn't complete. Just for that, you rate MXPX's "Chick Magnet." ;) Uhhhh, am I the only person in the world who didn't watch the Grammy's? Ah well, not like I missed anything. ;) Laters! Matthew: Thanks for the kind inclusion in the soundtrack. I actually blushed! You're a God among militamen. Sandi: I thought ya had ta be a musician to be a rockstar...well, Aerosmith sorta proves me wrong there, I guess. Barbi: NBP really wasn't a way for Caroline to screw anybody. That type of contract is de rigeur in the industry (which, albeit, is all about screwing musicians), so Caroline didn't screw BFF any worse than anyone else would've. Caroline really is one of the best labels in the bidness in terms of how they treat their artists. Emily...oh, yeah, I don't think she's here any more...nevermind. Courtney: Ya didn't miss much by skippin' the Grammies, though I sure respect the feck outta ya fer tryin':-)! I missed out on the beginning of this whole soundtrack thing, but I'm sure you all know how I love ta jump on the latest trend, so here goes...well, I tried, but it would hafta be a box set that nobody could afford, so oh well! ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Feb 1999 11:38:24 -0500 From: Barbi Sliemers Subject: Possible BenCon I would consider getting to amherst if i had a place to stay. hm, would i have to fly there? Have tickets gone on sale yet? are there any left? ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Feb 1999 12:53:10 -0800 From: Dig that crazy chick Subject: time for some Dimetapp As far as the Amherst situation goes, I believe that tickets go on sale on March 24th and are available through Protix. You can call them at 860.422.1000. I have this horrid splitting headache and my back is killing me. My cold is getting worse. Last night I laid in bed wide awake with a terrible case of the chills until at least 7am. which sucked, let me tell you. Even worse is that when I actually did get to sleep, I slept right through my alarm AND my midterm review. feck. AND i was all excited about getting up early and watching R.E.M. on Sesame Street too. alas, that was not to be. Oh, and there is some charming person who appears to be subscribed to this list against his will. after i posted yesterday, i got a personal email from him which told me i was "illiterate and a stupid shit" and to stop sending him mail. and this, my fellow Fjords, is how to win friends and influence people. Well, since my day is already shot, i think I'm going to go back to bed. ~Courtney The Sultraness of Swing "I saved Latin. Well, the official page at http://www.bffweb.com has updated the Tour Dates (scroll to the bottom and click on "Tour") and they are coming nowhere near alabama. These dates bridge the gap between those first dates in the Northeast and their dates in the UK, so I won't be seeing them til summer, unless i make my way up to chicago.
