You know, this kinda reminds me of the time I tried to decide what songs I'd want to put on my Songs to Strut To mix tape. I still never finished the list, but it's great music. Anyway, the soundtrack for the RF has to include some Cake, most likely Sheep Go To Heaven. Reel Big Fish gets a shout out with Alternative Girl, specifically for Sandi, Stacy, Elisabeth, and all of the other punk-rock girls of the clique. ;) Only the Lonely for me, Markus, Dan, and every other love lost soul out there in the stratosphere. For our FL, you get Rock The Casbah, my friend. That's all I can think of for right now. Laters! However, I think the disc is better than seeing them live which is rare for me to say. Of course, it could have something to do with the fact that they opened for Bulit to Spill and Archers of Loaf which are two of my favorite bands. Speaking of Bulit to Spill, new disc out Tuesday. I can't wait. CD Now should have it in my mailbox tomorrow. Review will be forthcoming Wed. Peace all. Well I dig that soundtrack thing. Im going to have to give it more thought. But, bad, dirty mind that i have, my first thought goes to "Catholic Schoolgirls Rule"-by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Naah. I am pure as the driven snow. Here's a better song: "Bad In Plaid"-The Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Plus, theyre local and Dickie went to Xaverian, a fellow Catholic school. Sometimes I think only he truly understands.=) Props o' the week go to Leigh, twas lovely (and wicked awesome!) having food with you, and I hope you werent too late for hockey. ~Elisabeth "Paisley makes me nauseous-when Im down with plaid BE CAUTIOUS!" ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 22 Feb 1999 13:34:29 -0700 From: Stacy Lynn Subject: a friendly reminder from your DJ Du Jour Listen to my show tonight at 12am Eastern, 9pm Pacific.
