DON'T WRITE J,LC WITHOUT THE COMMA, DARNIT!), i wasn't expecting to see anyone i knew, much less someone who's on TWO lists i'm on! so even though matt was being a little bitch all night, the camraderie made everything peachy. and to top this off, i just found out that ANI DIFRANCO is coming back to atlanta in april! woo hoo! feminist-not-lesbian-folk-punk- rock! i anticipate... anoop, we all had a wonderful time chatting with you and jen and peter, and we can't wait to see you in athens! i'll write you a personal email soon, i promise... ta! sara ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Jan 1999 14:13:30 -0700 From: Stacy Lynn Subject: Just when you think its finished... XTC vs Adam Ant.... Only one will surrive... This is a cool song. Clayton - Volvo's rock. I am glad you are ok. Thats a very scary thing to happen, and I am glad you were driving a volvo. And while you like them mainly for their safety features, I just think they are the coolest looking cars ever. To each his own. I'm glad you are ok. Leigh - I did see Conan finally. I had myparents tape it for me. I even forced them to watch it, and they loved it! They didnt get the whole "Fear of Pop" They thought it was Ben Folds Five, but where are the other 2? and who are the other people? So I had to explain it to them. Fleming's cool. =-) Jordan and Tavia and Kel (and any other person from Australia who likes the Whitlams)- I bought The Whitlam's CD. It should arrive soon. Visitors33 (michele?) - i think you post to the message board, right? i know who ya are. anyway...jude is becoming my new obsession now that bff is on a little break. i have to listen to his album atleast once a day. shan "I wanna see you out one night dressed up like a teenage porn star" ~ Jump, Little Children ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Jan 1999 16:55:20 -0800 From: Blue Green Olga Subject: honk if you're a trick ass bitch I'm listening to the Pret-A-Porter soundtrack... something i haven't done in a good 2 years. ahh, the phat beats are quite rejuvenating on this boring sunday afternoon. Cabaret with Alan Cumming and (ick) Teri Hatcher is coming to L.A. next month. I'm so fabulously excited.... really you have NO idea. and we've decided that no matter how much it costs, we're going to do our damndest to get a table up front. aww yeah.... Alan in all of his creepy-fey glory. yum! I just found out that if my friend Erik gets press credentials to cover the Oscars for his TV show, i may just get to be his "lovely and charming" co-host out on the red carpet. boo-yah! as a bigger bonus, it means Trojan Vision will have to shell out for a swank dress for me to rent. awww yeah! i just hope my flight in that day from Paris doesn't feck things up. i'm sad because i have no Sinforosa in my mailbox. This boy that i love (who's bitch girlfriend lives next door to me) just found out that he's going to be premiering teh film he and another friend of mine made this past summer at the Seattle International Film Festival in May. i'm so proud of them! I saw Dancing About Architecture--- oh excuse me, i mean Playing By Heart, on friday night. it was great... although i didn't like Gillian Anderson's hair. and i always have issues with Ryan Phillipe -- the boy shouldn't use big words. ever. but other than that, i loved it. Angelina Jolie is really cool and of course my love for Jon Stewart helped me enjoy the show. especially when he's so cute and witty and so good at ordering chinese take-out. things are looking well in the whole battle to get an internship at Grand Royal. now if i can just move my sociology discussion to the monday class instead of friday, it'll rock. I think I'm going to order a pizza and heckle Melissa Rivers on E! ~Courtney The Sultraness of Swing "I'm sure you don't lounge around your house in Armani suits."
